My approach to cancer wasn’t exactly conventional. Instead of becoming  submissive of my doctors, I became the CEO of my own body.

Then, I wrote a book about it. It’s called the The Healthy Girl’s Guide to Breast Cancer and you can buy it here.

I must have been doing something right, because my friends didn’t even know I had cancer until I told them.

I looked as radiant and healthy as ever. I realized I had something going on here and I needed to share it.

Glowing skin aside, I maintained my health through cancer, and to top it off, I ran a half marathon shortly after finishing 33 radiation treatments, and a full marathon to celebrate my complete recovery.

In The Healthy Girl’s Guide to Breast Cancer I get honest about what cancer is really like and give practical info to take advantage of the profound self-discovery cancer inspires.

I teach the things I needed to know and ended up learning through experience during treatment.

“I share intimate details about what it was like to have my husband touch my breasts for the first time after surgery, how I broke the news to my children, and even a photo of my radiated breast – FYI, your breasts don’t turn black and charred.

This book isn’t just for cancer thrivers, it’s for anyone who wants to redefine healthy for themselves, prevent chronic disease, and get inspired to become the healthiest, happiest version of themselves.
